Clubs

Definition: Clubs, like associations, are groups of people organized around a single purpose or interest. Generally, a club’s members are entirely local, living in the city/town; country or township.

What’s in a name? What’s in a name? You will find in Canada at least groups in a single city or even a part of a large city – like Toronto – which call themselves as ‘association’. Some groups also call themselves a ‘society’.

In this category, we provide some web sites which list some of the many model railroading “clubs” in Canada.

In addition to this site, a great resource is Cyberspace World Railroad which lists Clubs (by Province), as well as Manufacturers, Layout Tours, Modelling Information as well as great information organized by Prototype Railroad.

Note: Following is a list of Model Railroad clubs in and around the Western Ontario Division (WOD) boundaries as well as other clubs in Ontario.

They are not necessarily affiliated with the NMRA Niagara Frontier Region (NFR) although there may be members of the club that is also a member of NMRA – NFR.
